September 25 to Halloween weekend
The whole farm turns over for fall.
Pumpkins standing in the field, the flowers still going, and the tractor taking the long way round. All of it included with admission.
Special-edition fall food out of all four kitchens, a pumpkin patch you walk into, flower rows still blooming, and a maze made of sun hemp instead of corn.
Everything below is included with admission. The only things you pay extra for are the pumpkin you carry out and the flower bucket you fill.
Pumpkin patch
Rows of pumpkins in every shape the season gives us: round ones for carving, warty heirlooms for the porch, minis small enough for a mantle. You walk into the field and choose yours where it grew, which is also where the fall photos come from.
U-Pick flowers, still going
Summer is done but the field is not. Sunflowers, marigolds, celosia and more, straight through the fall. Walk the rows, cut your own bouquet, or just stand in it: this is the last big bloom before winter. Twenty dollars for a bucket, fifteen if you bring the bucket back.
Tractor Rides
Climb aboard behind the tractor and take the long way round the property: past the flower field, through the pumpkins, back to the pavilion. Slow, scenic, and about as far from a queue for a ride as you can get.
Sun hemp flower maze
Our answer to the corn maze. The crop is sun hemp, a legume that puts nitrogen back into the soil instead of stripping it out, and it grows six feet tall in full yellow flower. You wander it for

Arts and crafts
Pumpkin painting, bookmark making, and whatever else is set out on the tables that weekend. Hands-on, included, and messy on purpose. The line-up rotates through the season.
Local makers in the shop
The farm shop restocks for fall with work from Gulf Coast makers: cosy home decor, prints, handmade art, and limited-edition farm merchandise you will not find in a chain store. New makers get highlighted through the season.
Fall photos
Capture the season with photo spots scattered across the farm. From hay bales and pumpkin stacks to golden sunflower fields, Ananda is full of picture-perfect fall moments.

Friday September 25 through Halloween weekend. After that we move into the holiday season.
Hours
Friday 3 to 8, Saturday 10 to 8, Sunday 10 to 7. Closed Monday through Thursday.
